The gardens of our CARE HOME have been carefully landscaped at the front and back with raised flowerbeds, a pergola and a fish pond plus a variety of trees, shrubs and plants to provide interest throughout the year.

Will it be easy for friends and family to get to the home?

There is a regular bus route, which runs from nearby Charminster Road, and this is a five-minute walk from the home

Yes — we have lovely gardens and outdoor areas with plenty of seating for residents and visitors. Our outdoor spaces are designed to be calm, safe, and enjoyable, whether you’d like a quiet chat, a bit of fresh air, or to spend time together surrounded by greenery. In warmer months, the gardens are a favourite place for residents to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and take part in gentle activities. Staff can also support residents who need a little help getting outside comfortably and safely.

Decisions about care are made together, as a team. The resident is always at the centre of this, and we involve family members or loved ones (where the resident wants this), along with our care team and any relevant healthcare professionals.

Before care begins, we complete an assessment and create a personalised care plan based on individual needs, preferences, routines, and medical requirements. We then review this plan regularly — and anytime needs change — so everyone stays informed and confident that the right support is in place.

Yes. Our team is on hand 24/7, including overnight, to provide reassurance, support, and assistance whenever it’s needed.
Where possible, yes. We can support residents to continue with their preferred GP and services, or help register locally if that’s more practical. We also work closely with community nurses and other professionals.

Yes – we encourage a friendly, active atmosphere with a range of activities and opportunities to socialise. Residents can join in as much or as little as they like, always based on their interests and energy levels.
